ACCOUNTANT (1 Post)
Reporting to the Director and the incumbent is responsible for managing the company’s financial processes and operations, which include billing, reviewing invoices, running payroll, budgeting, tax preparation and administration.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent and over three (3) years’ experience in accounting
- A professional course such as CIS, ACCA, CIMA will be an added advantage
Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly client invoices in an accurate and timely manner;
- Investigate all billing discrepancies and make necessary corrections;
- Prepare monthly management reports
- Reconciliation of bank statements, petty cash, advance and other accounts with general ledger;
- Assist in Auditing
- Payroll Administration
- Prepare and submit tax returns before statutory deadlines.
- Any other assigned duties including administration.
Required Skills
- Must be able to work independently; detail oriented and organized;
- Proficiency with accounting software such as Belina, Sage evolution
- Ability to review and analyze any problems/issues and come up with recommendations
- Excellent organizational skills with a willingness to assume responsibilities and take initiative; ability to be a team player.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and interpersonal skills
